About Madison Middle School PTA

We invite you to join Madison Middle School PTA for the 2018–2019 School Year. Our children benefit when parents, school staff, students and the community work together. PTA can help bring these groups together to share thoughts and ideas about programs and activities that benefit our children and school community. With your help, our PTA can sponsor and or assist with programs and activities such as: Snack Break on Fridays, Teacher Support, School Club, Quarterly Recognition for Academics and Citizenship, Book Fair, ASB Fundraisers, Dances, and Teacher Appreciation.

Membership Fee

New members are welcome to join anytime throughout the school year!

The cost is $7.00 for membership. All family members and friends are welcome to join, so sign up Grandma and the neighbor next door.

* Fee Breakdown: Of the $7.00 per person membership, $4.25 goes towards the National and State PTA membership fees. $1.50 stays at Madison Middle School. The remaining $1.25 goes towards local PTA operating expenses.

** PTA members are not required to attend meetings or volunteer, but are encouraged to and will always be welcome.

Volunteer Help Needed

Madison PTA needs your help! We're looking for PTA Board members for the 2017-2018 school year. Consider sharing your time and talents to help keep Madison the amazing community that it is.

We are currently looking for new PTA Board Members for the 2017-2018 school year!  We are a fun team of parents dedicated to supporting the needs and enriching the lives of our Madison Middle School students The positions vary in the time commitment involved and some can be done in evening hours. Newcomers are welcome! For more information about joining the board or other opportunities to get involved, please email madisonmiddleschoolpta@gmail.com.

Vista Teen Outreach

Vista Teen Outreach is a non-profit organization run by community volunteers.  They are providing food pantries at various schools throughout our district, including Madison.  Hungry students are allowed to receive a backpack of food free of charge throughout the school year.  Students just need to see their school counselor for access. For more information about volunteer opportunities or donation needs, please visit their website at www.vistateenoutreach.org.

Reflections Program Artist

Congratulations to Madison's PTA Reflections program artists! All 5 won Awards of Excellence at Madison and at Vista Unified Council (which is HUGE!). Here is the official update from Ninth District PTA, which covers all of San Diego and Imperial Counties. We have two place winners, Melody Wheeler and Emily Vidican! Melody Wheeler's film has been sent on to be judged at the State level, and Emily Vidican's artwork will be on display at the annual Reflections Art Gala on March 2nd. Way to go! You make us Madison Mustangs proud!

Cement Contractor and or Structural Engineer Needed

PTA is looking for a cement contractor and or structural engineer to volunteer time to help with the 8th grade horse sculpture project. This sculpture would be on a pedestal and would provide weekly updates for parents driving through. It would in essence replace the banner. PTA is in need of someone soon so that we can accomplish this goal by the end of the year.

Thank you!
